All the scoop on Annie and Tuface's Wedding

The wedding has been aptly named the most anticipated wedding of the year and it sure is.

Wedding date: 23 March 2013

Venues: Jumeirah Beach Resort Dubai and an undisclosed private Island

Colors of the day: Red white and black

Wedding Dress: I DO by Tims. The dress has been named 'Annie' in honor of the bride

Guests: A lot of guests from the Nigerian entertainment scene, politicians and socialites honoured the couple. Some of them are Banky W, Don Jazzy, mentor and mother figure to the couple Senator Florence Ita Giwa, Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw and a host of others.

Just before the wedding began at noon, guests were told to switch off their phones to protect the privacy of the couple. Taking pictures were not allowed. The groom walked in with his best man whilst an acoustic band played in the background. Shortly after, Annie walked down the aisle with her father who looked dapper in a tux.

Banky W serenaded the couple with a love song.

When it was time to exchange their vows, they switched things up by not exchanging tht traditional wedding vows. The couple had written each others vows on a paper. It was a very heartfelt moment with some guests shedding a tear or two as the couple read out each other's vows. Have a look at their wedding vows. My joy! My heart! My friend! My love!

I stand before you today as open as I can ever be, humbled by the light and love in your eyes.

13 years ago, I met the most amazing man on earth! I flew on the wings of that love, uncaring, unheeding! Believing firmly that you are and will always be the wind beneath my wings!

I do 13 yrs ago when I met you, I do 7yrs ago, I do 5yrs ago when we created our daughter! I do through all the blogs and tabloid headlines! From the beach side of the Jumeirah hotel, which was venue for the wedding, the couple and their friends were ferried on a boat cruise to a private island for the reception

A major highlight of the wedding was the controversial sports car gift allegedly given to the couple by Senator David Mark. (The senate president's camp is denying he made any such gift *rolling my eyes*)

We are yet to get a photo of the wedding party but we know Faze, Tony Tetuila, D'banj and Sound Sultan made the cut. However we got a small peek of the groom, his bestman and one of the groomsmen.

There was an after party at Kiza Night Club where the guests let their hair down and partied non-stop. We learnt many of them were on a drunken-fest
