CNN Anchor Isha Sesay Marries Leif Coorlim in Georgia (See Photos)

CNN Anchor Isha Sesay tied the knot with Leif Coorlim, the Executive Producer of CNN Freedom Project in a gorgeous wedding in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta on Saturday.

How they met

The couple met in 2008 after working on a CNN series together in Atlanta. They were friends for several years and began dating in 2011, after Sesay "brazenly asked [Coorlim] out for a drink," as she described it. Sesay says her favorite thing about Coorlim is his "kindness." She explains: "He has an extraordinarily large heart, and every day he does something that impresses me and makes me want to be a better person. He’s truly a special soul." For Coorlim, the best thing about Sesay is how outgoing she is. "We can’t take 10 steps in the building without her stopping to talk to somebody. She’s best friends with her dry cleaner, waiters in the restaurant down the road, even her dentist. It’s that kind of open-heartedness, that I truly am in awe of and love about her. How sweet :-)

Eternal Bliss: Mathilda Izuagie weds Bugie Okhuemoi

If you are in doubt about how to go about a Christian courtship (you know the old fashioned way of informing your pastor of your intentions before the start of a courtship, it works) while keeping things romantic, please read Matty and Bugie's story of love. We head down to the ancient city of Benin to bring you this beautiful wedding. Read all about Matty and Bugie's story here-

The Meeting

Matty: Bugie and I are deeply committed Christians so it stands to reason that we met in church. He is involved in ministry just like I am. We became particularly close when were called to serve on several committees in church.

Bugie: As we got closer, there was a certainty in my heart the Matty was the one God had chosen for me. I did what we were raised to do- I spoke to my pastor about her. Considering the close relationship we both enjoyed with our pastor, she gave us a go ahead and we started courting.

The Proposal

Bugie: I had planned to pop the question on her birthday, April 19, 2012 and I wanted it to be the first thing I did on the morning of her birthday. I tried all I could to get the ring the day before (April 18th up till 1am on the 19th) so I could propose to her first thing in the morning before she went to work, but somehow the jeweler did not deliver. So I saw her that morning and only wished her a happy birthday.

Forever Thine: Melody Iyeke weds Dipo Otutuloro

Today's real wedding feature should inspire to believe in true love and when you do find true love, to work equally as hard to keep that love. True love is rare. Read about Melody and Dipo's journey of love below

Wedding Date
October 13 2012

The Meeting
Melody and Dipo met at her office in 2009 and guess what, she made the first move. According to Melody, "he comes around to help maintain our systems and I had been looking at him. One day I finally spoke and told him I liked him, he blushed (he is fair in complexion so I'm sure), he gave me his card and we started off talking. This was in May. By November he said to me "I want our time to be beautiful, no matter how short or long it will last, I just want it to be beautiful" and I tell you it has been beautiful ever since. Funny thing is, before I met him I didn't like light skinned men.

Dipo says about their first meeting, "I had just come off a relationship and was going through a phase where I just dropped drink and cigars and needed something more. I (literally) heard a voice in my head or mind that said- look in places you wouldn't normally look and that did it. Truth is, before I met Melody, I wouldn't normally go for a "big" girl.

The Proposal
Melody: We had talked about marriage in different ways. I've even had a previous proposal that was pure fantasy but it was from the wrong guy. So for me I wasn't particular about the kind of proposal. So there we were, crossover service had just ended and we were walking towards the car, he was gonna drop me off at home. I was trying to open the car door when I saw someone on his knees fumbling to get the ring case from his tight shirt pocket saying "baby will you marry me". I jumped on him, we kissed then he put the ring on my finger. We walked back into the church amidst congratulatory messages from people that witnessed it.

How did you know he/she was the one
Melody: I wasn't sure at first but he was every inch a comforter when my dad passed. He warmed his way into my family with his down-to-earth-ness and was ultra affectionate with everyone. It was then that I started dreaming. We've had our rough times but my mom always told me- " if you meet a man that has love stored in his account, stay with him, everything else will come. His love will sustain you" so here we are, married, still facing challenges but he never fails to wrap his arms around me at my slightest discomfort and he will will say to me "baby we will get through this, we'll make it" and I believe

Happily ever after: Tolu Onabanjo weds Gbenga Runsewe

Love is indeed beautiful...

Tolu and Gbenga began their journey back in 2005 when they were both students and course mates at the University of Lagos. Many waters, they say, cannot quench love so even after they graduated, the relationship continued. They sealed their 7-year courtship by tying the knot in a lavish romantic ceremony witnessed by family and friends on 4th and 6th of October 2012 respectively.

The colors of the day were red and yellow and this ran through the entire wedding, from the decor to the cake to the beautiful floral center pieces, the bold wedding theme was unmistakable. Parasols lined the aisle of the reception and hung from the ceiling, creating a whimsical fairy tale scene, the type story books are made of.The bride looked like a princess in a fairy tale a-line dress before changing into a mermaid style dress with champagne gold detail, red and yellow corsage and a fascinator to match at the reception.

Laide & Eloho: Love made in Heaven

Laide and Eloho Okiomah's traditional wedding took place on Saturday 8th September 2012. It was an emotional laden ceremony witnessed by close family and friends. From the prayers said to the tears shed, the emotions, and outpouring of love was too palpable. The bride and groom looked respledent in ivory and magenta aso-oke before changing into Isoko attire of gold and turquoise. Splashes of deep purple dotted the entire wedding venue.

The beautiful blend of two different cultures, Yoruba and Isoko made this ceremony very special, the Yoruba with their aso-oke and the Isoko with their two wrapper and walking stick. The alaga iduro, Yoruba for the Host/MC/Compere handled the event with such grace and did a good job fusing both cultures.

Eloho proposed to Laide on Valentine's Day, 14th of February 2012 . According to Laide, he had taken her for a drink on the evening of Valentine's day and somehow arranged with the waiters to slip the engagement ring in the drink. As she downed the drink she noticed there was something at the bottom of the glass and when she found out it was a ring, Eloho went down on one knee and popped the question. The rest, of course is history.
