Former Miss World, Agbani Darego is said to be engaged to popular Bayelsa politician Timi Alaibe. Daily Times is reporting that the former Miss World has accepted the marriage proposal of Mr Alaibe.
And before tongues start wagging Timi isn't married at the moment. He lost his first wife, Alaere to cancer a few years ago.
Congrats to them
Agbani was the first black woman to win the Miss World pageant in 2001 and her fiance Timi Alaibe is an influential politician from Bayelsa state and currently Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Niger Delta Affairs.
The beauty queen had this to say later via her twitter page
